A 220x90 pixel grid runs the classic flame propagation algorithm: heat values propagate upward from a maximum-heat bottom row with randomized lateral drift and cooling, mapped to a 37-color palette that transitions through black, deep red, orange, yellow, and white. The result is organic, living flames that flicker, surge, and die naturally — no two frames are ever identical. This is the same algorithm used in the Doom title screen (1993) and the After Dark fire module, rebuilt for the modern web. Press F for fullscreen and your display fills with algorithmic fire.
